The result is BerlitzEnglish, a new program that is more engaging, flexible and goal-oriented. For example, both classroom activities and the fully intergrated course materials feature up-to-date, real-life experiences. Student Book:
The program consists of eight levels and each level has its own specialty designed Student Book.

Specializations:
For Levels 5 –8 BerlitzEnglish offers special areas of study. The student’s material is divided into 6 Chapters of general English study and 6 Chapters of specialized study. The areas of specialized study include Negotiations, Business I & II, E-mail & Business Writing, Meetings & Presentations, Social Situations, Arts & Entertainment and Pronunciation. - Business I & II: Business I & II emphasize business idioms, terms and concepts in major functional areas of a corporation such as marketing, sales, accounting, human resources and customer service.
- Meetings & Presentations: Meetings & Presentations covers all aspects of organizing, preparing for, participating in, and leading a meeting or a presentation. Subjects include opening a meeting, recapping, soliciting participant feedback, mediating disagreements, handling questions, etc.
- E-mails & Business Writings: E-mails & Business Writings focus on writing, phrasing and expressions commonly used in business correspondence. Topics include components of an e-mail message, openings and closings of messages, tone, register, spelling, capitalization and punctuation.
- Pronunciation: Pronunciation emphasizes consonant and vowel sounds, word and sentence stress, rhythm and intonation.
- Social Situations: Social Situations emphasizes idiomatic expressions specific to social interaction covering subjects such as invitations, food situations, money matters, etc.
- Negotiations: This supplement covers the essential issues students face transferring their negotiating skills to English. The program covers all phases involved in the Negotiation Process, from preparing and developing a strategy to make an offer, bargaining and closing the deal.
- Arts & Entertainment: Arts & Entertainment emphasizes vocabulary and expressions relating to entertainment and the arts, covering subjects like movie reviews, architectural successes, pop music, Hollywood happenings, creative collaborations and fashion.
