In addition to language instruction and cross-cultural training, Berlitz offers Interpretation and Translation services. Charleston Berlitz translators and interpreters are hand chosen by management based on experience and field of expertise. From technical projects to government documents, Berlitz will match the appropriate employee to the job. Our translation and interpretation clients include The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), The Department of Social Services (DSS), The Office of Hearing and Appeals (OHA), and numerous attorneys, private companies and government agencies. Berlitz interpreters can be coordinated for many forms of business communication from conference calls to large-scale presentations. All Berlitz translators and interpreters are native fluent and posses the communication skills necessary for the successful completion of any interpretation or translation project.

Employee Screening Process:

1. Screening ‑ Berlitz interviews all potential new employees to evaluate their poise and professional demeanor and to assess their professional skills, training and experience.

2. Testing ‑ Berlitz employees must pass a bilingual exam. This test evaluates the employee on many levels, including fluency in languages (English and their native language), competence and knowledge.

3. Evaluation ‑ Berlitz regularly evaluates employee performance through client feedback and random monitoring.
